First Litter Arrived! Born on Sunday November 24, 2024

We are proud to announce that Island Great Danes is the FIRST breeder of Great Danes on Cape Breton Island! This historic milestone is made even more special by the arrival of our very first litter of magnificent Great Dane puppies. On Sunday, November 24th, we welcomed 11 incredible puppies into the world: four big, handsome boys and seven stunning girls.

At Island Great Danes, we are committed to the highest standards in breeding.

Our dogs are:
CKC Certified with proof of registration, lineage, and breed status.
Titled Canadian Champions, a testament to their superior quality.
OFA Health Cleared, ensuring their exceptional health and well-being.

We are deeply grateful to Kenny Craig and David Beek in Michigan, USA, for their mentorship, encouragement, and invaluable guidance as we established our foundational breeding program. A special thank-you also to Dr. Alison Jones, DVM, for providing her expert care and support throughout this process.

And to my daughter, Alix, thank you for being there right on time and helping to deliver these precious bundles of joy!
